I made a video showing me doing this value in a really cool Personal Progress doodle book that you can see here
Did you know that you can keep track of your YW personal progress on LDS.org? It’s really fun and simple! Check out the video I made for you below…
One of my first – and possibly my favorite – Personal Progress experiences was Faith #1: Learn about faith and then EXERCISE it by starting a pattern of saying both morning and evening prayers for three weeks.
It was definitely hard, especially on late nights and early mornings. But as I became consistent and more sincere in my prayers, I realized that having enough faith to pray can bring some great blessings. We can receive answers to our questions, find comfort, and feel the presence and love of Heavenly Father. This experience was so helpful to me in growing my faith in the power of prayer.
Let me know if you have done this value yet and share with us what you learned from it in the comments below.
I have been working on this value of faith and it teaches you a lot about the Plan of Salvation. So far I love it! I have learned so much. Here is the steps to do #6.
First you have to read a few scriptures…
- 1 Corinthians 15:22
- Revelation 12:7-9
- 2 Nephi 9:1-28; 11:4-7
- D & C 76:50-113; 93:33-34
- Abraham 3:24-27
2. DRAW OR OBTAIN
Next you can color pic of the Plan of Salvation based from the scriptures.
Then you have to share it with your class, your family, or a friend. – Discuss how knowledge of the plan affects your actions, helps you understand your identity, & has strengthened your faith.
THAT’S IT! Currently I am on the study part.
Let me know in the comments if you have already completed this one and share your testimony or share with us if you are working on #6 of faith as well. 🙂
Almost a month and a half ago, I had the most amazing opportunity to receive my patriarchal blessing from my grandpa. It was a very special experience, and I could tell that the Lord was speaking to me. I felt His love and His Spirit strongly.
I encourage you to prepare yourself to receive your blessing, if you haven’t already. When you receive your blessing you will feel it between you and the Lord. Don’t feel pressured to get it just because everybody else is. No matter when you decide to receive it, I promise that it is one of the best things that will ever happen to you.

This past Wednesday in Young Women’s we had to work on Virtue 3. It is all about preparing for the Temple.
“Prepare to be worthy to enter the temple and to participate in temple ordinances. Read Alma chapter 5. Make a list of the questions Alma asks. Answer the questions for yourself, and make a list of the things you can and will do to prepare yourself to be pure and worthy to enter the temple and receive all the blessings our Heavenly Father has promised His beloved daughters.”

- If you don’t have a Personal Progress book then you can download the PP app. Click Here to buy the app now if you are on a mobile device.
I will be working on this Virtue. If you are working on it as well then please share it with us in the comments below!
